The Miracle Thailand Card is a type of The KTB e-Money Card, hereinafter called "KTB e-Money Card" is a card that Krung Thai Bank PLC, hereinafter called "the Bank" issues to the KTB e-Money Card buyer who is approved by the Bank to be KTB e-Money Cardholder, hereinafter called "KTB e-Money Cardholder" whereby the KTB e-Money Cardholder agrees to be bound by and comply with the KTB e-Money Card Service Agreement and Terms of Use as follows:
1.  The KTB e-Money Cardholder agrees to apply for using the KTB e-Money Card service in accordance with the Bank's steps and procedures in an accurate and complete manner through the service distribution channels as specified by the Bank.
2.  In applying for the KTB e-Money Card service use, the KTB e-Money Cardholder agrees to use only the true number of his/her/their identification (ID) card/passport/other ID document in conducting the transaction to apply for service use and assign his/her/their own password (hereinafter called "Password") for conducting respective transactions relating to the use of this KTB e-Money Card service. In this regard, the KTB e-Money Cardholder is able to change such Password by himself/herself/themselves later on in accordance with the Bank's requirements and terms and conditions.
In case where the KTB e-Money Cardholder has already signed his/her/their name on the back of the card in using the KTB e-Money Card for making payment of goods and/or services bought at the member shop, if it appears that there are any erase of cancellation/deletion marks of the signature on the back of the Card in any case that is an alteration or change of such signature, the KTB e-Money Cardholder agrees and acknowledges that such KTB e-Money Card will no longer be unable to be used for making payment of goods and/or services bought at the member shop. In addition, if the card is handed over to other person to hold and/or use it after the signing of name on the back of the KTB e-Money Card, the KTB e-Money Cardholder in the following order shall be unable to use the KTB e-Money Card for making payment of goods and/or services bought at member shop but still being able to make payment of goods and/or services through other service channels such as ATM and/or use it for conducting cash withdrawal in accordance with this KTB e-Money Card Service Agreement and Terms of Use. If the KTB e-Money Cardholder in any order wishes to request for refund of the cash balance in the
KTB e-Money Card, such KTB e-Money Cardholder agree to take action as prescribed in Section 20.
** KTB e-Money Cardholder of every order shall keep the copy/copies of the Application for Use of KTB e-Money Card Service in witness whereof for refund of cash balance in the KTB e-Money Card**
3.  The KTB e-Money Cardholder agrees to be bound by and comply with the prevailing requirements and terms and conditions of the KTB e-Money Card service use and/or those which will be notified of any alterations or amendments at a later stage as the Bank will notify further.
The KTB e-Money Cardholder agrees and acknowledges that this KTB e-Money Card is deemed as cash, and the KTB e-Money Cardholder and/or any persons are unable to seize/attach and withdraw the seizure/attachment of the KTB e-Money Card.
The KTB e-Money Cardholder agrees and acknowledges that the KTB e-Money Card shall be used together with the assigned Password and the KTB e-Money Cardholder has the duty of retaining the KTB e-Money Card will and keeping it in a safe place so that it will not be lost and the Cardholder shall not destroy or cause damage to or alter/change any part of the KTB e-Money Card as well as keeping the Password confidential at all times. If any other persons conduct transaction(s) by using his/her/their
KTB e-Money Card and Password, the KTB e-Money Cardholder agrees to accept such action(s) as his/her/their own action(s) in all, and the Bank is not liable for the damage or loss incurred from any transaction conduct of such other person.
4.  In case where the KTB e-Money Cardholder uses the Password to conduct any transactions in relation to the use of this KTB e-Money Card until completion, the KTB e-Money Cardholder agrees to accept that the KTB e-Money Cardholder agrees to be bound in all in accordance with such transaction and is unable to cancel, revolve, alter, change or amend such transaction and longer.
5.  The Bank agrees to give consent to the KTB e-Money Cardholder to use the Password and/or sign the name on the back of the card in making payment of goods, services as well as conducting respective financial and banking transactions and/or conducting and other transactions of the Bank that the Bank may expand the scope of service providing in the future.
6.  The KTB e-Money Cardholder agrees to accept that if the wrong Password is entered for three consecutive times, such KTB e-Money Card will be immediately and automatically cancelled for service use. If the KTB e-Money Cardholder remembers the existing Password, he/she/they are able to contact the Bank's branch or service point to apply for use of existing Password and for release of service use cancellation free of charge. But if the KTB e-Money Cardholder cannot remember the existing Password, he/she/they are able to contact a branch or service point apply for an issuance of a new KTB e-Money Card and Password by agreeing to pay fee at the rate prescribed by the Bank.
7.  The KTB e-Money Cardholder accepts that the KTB e-Money Card is in the Bank's ownership. When the KTB e-Money Card is seized by an ATM for any reasons and it appears that such KTB e-Money Card bears any writings or is made to appear as numbers on the Card that may cause to understand that such numbers are Password of such KTB e-Money Card on which such writing were done by the KTB e-Money Cardholder ,it shall be deemed as noncompliance with the terms and condition, in Section 3 of this Agreement specifying that Password must be kept confidentially.
8.  The KTB e-Money Cardholder is able to use the KTB e-Money Card in conducting various services transactions as provided by the Bank with methods of transaction conduct in accordance with the operating procedures prescribed by the Bank; and the KTB e-Money Cardholder agrees to admit that the Bank is merely a service provider in giving convenience for buying goods/service and/or making payment of goods/services bought and conducting transactions as instructed by the KTB e-Money Cardholder. The Bank dose not guarantee the quality of such goods and services if problem arises concerning the use of such goods/services or defects of goods/services including the return of goods, cancellation of service use or improvement of goods or service use. The KTB e-Money Cardholder agrees to contact the seller or provider of such goods/services by himself/herself/themselves. If it involves the case of refund of goods or services bought, the KTB e-Money Cardholder agrees to apply for such refund directly from the seller or provider of goods or services. In this connection, the Bank shall not be responsible for refunding the cost of goods and/or services to the KTB e-Money Cardholder.
9.  The KTB e-Money Cardholder is able to refill cash in the KTB e-Money Card at the Bank's branches or other service points that the Bank opens for service providing in accordance with the following cash amounts specified by the Bank.
Minimum of 100 Baht/time/card and
Maximum of 50,000 Baht/time/card
Moreover, such minimum amount and/or maximum amount are adjustable and the Bank will inform the KTB e-Money Cardholder of the formats and methods prescribed in Section 23.
10.  The KTB e-Money Cardholder agrees to pay respective fees and expenses relating to preparation or making of the KTB e-Money Card and the use of KTB e-Money Card, the details of which are as follows:
Card issuance fee 100.- Baht (throughout 2 years maturity)
Card cancellation fee 50.- Baht
Moreover, such fee rates and expenses are adjustable and the Bank will inform the KTB e-Money Cardholder of the formats and methods prescribed in Section 23.
11.  The KTB e-Money Cardholder is able to withdraw cash as prescribed by the Bank.
12.  The KTB e-Money Cardholder has the right to receive transaction slip as documentary evidence in supplement to the use of goods purchase service and cash withdrawal through ATM. In case of cash withdrawal, if the transaction slip runs out, the ATM screen monitor will show the message "Transaction slip runs out. Do you wish to continue?" In case the KTB e-Money Cardholder chooses to continue the cash withdrawal transaction in spite of not receiving the transaction slip such KTB e-Money Cardholder is able to check the transaction occurred through KTB Call Center 1551 or other channels as specified by the Bank.
When the KTB e-Money Cardholder receives the transaction slip as an evidence showing transaction of KTB e-Money Card use, the KTB e-Money Cardholder shall check the transactions appeared in the transaction slip. If it is found that any transactions have errors/discrepancies or inaccuracy, the KTB e-Money Cardholder must raise an objection to the Bank within 10 working days from the date that the KTB e-Money Cardholder received the transaction slip. If the KTB e-Money Cardholder fails to voice an objection within such period of time, the KTB e-Money Cardholder will agree to allow the Bank to regard the amount of cash approved in the transaction slip as an accurate transaction completely in accordance with the truth.
13.  In case where the Bank finds that there is an error in the transaction or is informed of an error/discrepancy by the KTB e-Money Cardholder, the Bank will verify such transaction with the related documents in the system. If the cause and error are found, the Bank will proceed to rectify it until completion within 30 days from the date that the Bank was informed of the case by the KTB e-Money Cardholder. In this regard, the Bank has set its criteria and operating steps and procedures in the investigation and rectification of such error as it has informed the Bank of Thailand (BOT) accordingly.
14.  In case where any damages or losses are incurred to the Bank or the Bank is demanded to be liable for any damages from the KTB the KTB e-Money Cardholder's transaction conduct of making payment of goods and/or service charge through the Bank service period for any reason whatsoever, the KTB e-Money Cardholder shall agree to indemnify for such damages/loss entirely and unconditionally to the Bank as well as agreeing to allow the Bank to take any actions to remedy and mitigate any damages/losses incurred to the Bank with no need to receive consent from the
KTB e-Money Cardholder.
15.  If, in the course of providing any service by the Bank ,an error or delay arises, whether it arises from the computer systems, internet systems, electronic equipment or any other systems relating to this service providing as well as the mobile phone network system or for any other reasons whatsoever, the KTB e-Money Cardholder shall not raise such technical trouble as a pretext for claiming any indemnity from the Bank.
16.  In case where the Bank finds out that the cash for the KTB e-Money Card of the Cardholder is insufficient to pay the cost of goods and/or services relating to this service use or the amount of the cost of goods and/or service charge exceeds the limit set by the Bank for such the KTB e-Money Cardholder, the KTB e-Money Cardholder shall agree to admit that the Bank has the right to terminate such service providing to the KTB e-Money Cardholder.
17.  The Bank agrees to allow the KTB e-Money Cardholder to check the list of transactions using the KTB e-Money Card service by himself/herself/themselves at the times by contacting the KTB Call Center 1551 or any other channels as specified by the Bank.
18.  In case where the KTB e-Money Card expires (two years from card issuance month) in accordance with the expiry date of the KTB e-Money Card specified in the Application for Use of the KTB e-Money Card Service, the KTB e-Money Cardholder is able to contact the Bank in order to ask for refund according to the cash balance in the Card within 30 days from the expiry date. If it is already beyond 30 days, the Bank will charge the card status maintenance fee by deducting it from the cash balance in the card according to the rate specified by the Bank. Upon the Bank's deduction of the card status maintenance fee, if the KTB e-Money Card wishes to continue to use the KTB e-Money Card service, the KTB e-Money Cardholder shall contact the Bank to have the new card issued to replace the excising one free of charge and any other expenses relating to issuance of a new the KTB e-Money Card.
In this regard, if the cash balance in the card is insufficient for deduction as card status maintenance fee for any reason whatsoever ,the Bank shall have the right to cancel or revolve the status of such the KTB e-Money Card by informing the KTB e-Money Cardholder of such matter in advance in accordance with the format and method prescribed in Section 23.
19.  The KTB e-Money Cardholder agrees to admit that the Bank has the right to collect other expenses incurred from the issuance of a new the KTB e-Money Card to replace the existing one which is damaged in all cases as per the rate fixed by the Bank except for the case specified in Section 18 above. Apart from this, the Bank has the right to collect the expense incurred in requesting for issuing the statement showing spending via the KTB e-Money Card as per the rate fixed by the Bank as well .
20.  Before completing the period of using the Card, if the KTB e-Money Cardholder wishes to refund the cash balance in the KTB e-money Card, the KTB e-Money Cardholder shall bring the copy of the Application for Use of KTB e-Money Card Service, KTB e-Money Card and copy of his/her/their identification (ID) Card to show them to the Bank for refund. The Cardholder is required to ask for refund of the whole amount of cash balance and agree to pay the card cancellation fee to the Bank according to the rate fixed and notified by the Bank.
21.  The KTB e-Money Cardholder has the right to cancel or terminate the use of the KTB e-Money Card service at anytime and has the right to get the KTB e-Money Card issuance fee back in the amount corresponding to the proportion of time remaining unused.
22.  The KTB e-Money Cardholder shall give the consent to the Bank to inquire or disclose some or the whole details retaining to the KTB e-Money Cardholder to any person in case of necessity or in case where the Bank deems it appropriate. Such consent shall prevail for all time although The KTB e-Money Cardholder has already cancelled the use of such KTB e-Money Card.
23.  The Bank shall inform the KTB e-Money Cardholder about changes or alteration of the terms of use of KTB e-Money Cardholder, fee rates, service charges and various expenses as well as criteria or requirements for the use of KTB e-Money Card or any agreements and terms and conditions relating to the KTB e-Money Card. , no less than 30 days in advance by posting up notifications at the branch office or making announcement through the press such as Thai language daily newspaper or informing the Cardholder in writing. In an urgent case, the Bank shall inform KTB e-Money Cardholder in advance of such information according to any of such methods no less than seven days.
24.  Regarding privileges for the KTB e-Money Cardholder, he/she/they will be entitled to receive discount at any shops bearing the Logo
  
nationwide where spending via KTB e-Money Card or showing KTB e-Money Card at the shop. In this regard, the KTB e-Money Cardholder is able to check the additional details about the participating member shops and search for other relevant privileges on website: www.ktb.co.th or inquire about special promotion by calling KTB Call Center1551. However, the Bank has the right to change such special privileges without prior notice to the e-Money Cardholder.
25.  Insurance for Cardholder
  • - Personal Accident Insurance within the first 7 days of first entry to Thailand or issuance of card whichever is the latest date.
  • - Cover up to 1,000,000 Baht and First Aid Medical Expenses up to 10,000 Baht.
  • - Cashless of First Aid Medical Expenses with 260 high standard hospitals throughout Thailand, see more details at www.ktb.co.th.
  • - Limit of cover on this insurance; maximum on a tourist per one card only.

  • The Bank will store your personal data for the purpose of the Bank's business operation including development of various products and service to meet the customer needs in a lawful manner and only in accordance with relevant criteria.
  • The Bank may utilize "cookie", which is a small file installed in your personal computer to enable efficient functioning which you are using the Bank website. The functioning of such cookie will and when you log-off from using the Bank website. On same occasion, the Bank may use your basic data or information on using its website for analysis in order to further develop or enhance the product and service to better respond to the customer needs.

  • Krungthai Bank PCL., (" the Bank") has utilize high standard of information security called "Secure Socket Layer (SSL)", which is a technology of security protocol in accessing encryption data at a level of 128 bits (128-bits encryption) in order to encrypt the data that are transmitted via internet each time that you conduct any transaction via the Bank's internet.
